About

Written By: Bai

Near the end of ’95 I got my first domain name, kanji.com. (When I had to sell it in ’08, I felt like a family member had died.) In January 1996, I decided to get another domain name. In the computer world of the mid-90s, the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean scripts were beginning to be referred to by the acronym CJK. I registered it. Over the years I added several other domain names to my growing collection, each representing one of my main interests, but the full complement of conditions that would allow any one of them to fly never occurred. Now fifteen years later, I’ve chosen my favorites and linked them together under cjk.com.
